HireLevel is looking for Mig Welder in Marion IL.
Our Client is privately owned and based in Marion, IL. They are a Fabrication Shop.
Job Type: Full -Time
Location: Marion, IL
Shift: Monday thru Friday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
Similar Positions: CNC Machinist, Welder, Manual Machinist, Machinist, Mig Welding, Blueprint reader
Compensation: $18.00 -$20.00 or BOE
Benefits upon hired on Full-Time:
- Company clothing: T-Shirts, caps, hoodie, etc.
- Informal interview and usually pay raise, as well as paid Holidays
- After 1 year: 1 week vacation, 2 years: 2 weeks vacation
- $50 safety bonus for each quarter that employee goes without accident
- Christmas bonus
Responsibilities of Welder:
- Reading blueprints, drawings, and taking measurements to plan layout and procedures
- Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
- Set up components for welding according to specifications
- Manual machining and CNC Machining experience helpful
Requirements of Welder:
- 1-2 years Mig Welding Experience
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must meet drug screening and background requirements
