HireLevel is hiring an Aluminum Welder in Sparta, IL!
Looking for an opportunity to build your welding skills and grow with a great company? Our client is seeking an entry-level Aluminum Welder to join their team. In this role, you’ll work with aluminum cable trays and components while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a positive, supportive work environment.
- Job Title: Aluminum Welder
- Job Type: Contract / Contract-to-Hire
- Location: Sparta, IL
- Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
What You’ll Do:
- Set up and operate welding equipment
- Perform aluminum spot welding
- Weld cable trays and components according to specifications
- Read and follow blueprints
- Finish and inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge or experience with aluminum welding
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Steel-toed boots required
- Ability to meet drug screening requirements
