Compensation: $20 BOE
Responsibilities of a Welder:
- Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project
- Sourcing the materials to be used in the project
- Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
- Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
- Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints
Requirements of a Welder:
- Years of experience - minimum 3 years
- Stick, Mig, Tig welding
- Oxy/Acet welding
- Reading schematics
- Reading manufacturing blueprint
- Metal fabrication Lay out work
- Metal finishing
- Grinding experience
Candidate must have experience in manufacturing/rebuilding of heavy equipment and or underground mining equipment.
