Qualifications & Skills:

• Unload pallets of merchandise for sorting and processing
• Break down cartons and repack items into trays or boxes
• Scan and sort merchandise using handheld scanners
• Inspect inbound shipments for damage or discrepancies
• Build and break down shipping boxes as needed

• Resolve product or labeling discrepancies (price labels, case labels, etc.)
• Sort, scan, and prepare items for shipment by store location
• Build cartons and prepare packaging for automated sorting systems
• Unpack cartons and place items onto conveyors for processing

• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
• Sort and stage merchandise based on case labels
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage or accuracy
• Audit product contents during receiving process
• Prepare outbound shipments for delivery

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (up to 70 lbs occasionally depending on role)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
• Basic scanner or warehouse equipment experience preferred (not required)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must pass drug screen and background check
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and extended shifts when needed

 Responsibilities of Production Worker:

• Able to maintain and operate manufacturing machines.

• Continuously perform quality control of products to ensure quality part production.
• Load and unload products, package, and inspect products.
• You must be familiar with the basic machine functions to perform the tasks stated above.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Report defective materials or unsafe conditions to department supervisor.
• Work well with others and by self.

Requirements of Production Worker:

• Must have a strong work ethic and good work history.
• Preferred warehouse experience
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

• Assists the operator with any specific order needs

• Hangs print plates and ensures that ink is ready to use at the machine
• Ensures proper set-up of automatic pre-feeder, feed section, and incoming loads of paper
• Removes In-Process tags and all banding and cap sheets on incoming loads and monitors the quality of sheets being fed through to prevent jams or quality issues
• Monitors and adjusts for sheet detectors
• Assists operator with hanging and removing cutting dies as well as clearing jams/wrecks in the machine
• Maintains a clean work area free of trip hazards and spills
• Other duties as assigned

Benefits once Employee goes full time with Client:

• PTO: at 6 months of being on Company payroll: 1.5 weeks

• Tends machine that coats wire electrolytically with zinc to protect wire surface from corrosion:
• Mixes zinc solution according to specified formula and turns valves to fill tank with solution.
• Threads wire through machine and sets rheostat to regulate flow of current through solution.
• Starts machine to pull wire through solution. Examines surface of wire for defects, such as bubbles or bare spots, and measures thickness of coating, using micrometer. 
• Adjusts controls to regulate speed of reel and flow of current to coat wire to specified thickness.
• Place product on racks for Electroplating and drying.
• Packaging up product for shipping

• Highschool diploma or GED
• Must have previous factory experience
• Previous shipping experience preferred

• Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality standards

Qualifications of a Production Worker:

• A bachelor's degree is REQUIRED. OR An associate's degree with minimum 3-5 years’ experience in an engineering related role in the automotive industry
• 5-10 years' experience in an engineering related role in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of machine mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, and materials.
• PLC programming experience., Computer skills, Excel, Word, Email, Power Point, Solid works.
